Time, Al-Asr

http://www.quranexplorer.com/Quran/Sura=5&FromVerse=1&ToVerse=120&Reciter=Mishari-Rashid&Translation=Malaysian&Zoom=5.2&TajweedRules=0

A short chapter, but perhaps one of the most crucial element in this illusion world. I think that how a person manages their time reflects a lot on their character and endurance.

If only I had fully utilized the time I had to do something more beneficial, to be someone better, to initiate changes that is waiting to be evolved; wouldn’t that be great. I would have felt more accomplished knowing that I didn’t waste the seconds away. And allow my yesterdays to wallow deeper in the century. The best of time is here, and now.

I found a hadith in the current book im reading:

"The two feet of the son of Adam will not move on the Day of Judgement in front of his Lord until he is asked about five matters: About his life and how he exhausts it? About his youth, what did he consume in it? About his wealth, how did he earn it? And what did he spend it on? And how much did he act upon what he knew" Narrated by At-Tirmidhi, no 2416:Albani: Sahih)

for me to ponder upon and be reminded.
