10 things on why working in school is GREAT.

#1 Despite being a non-teaching staff, it's nice to hear occasional brave children who would look into your eye and say "Good Morning/Afternoon Ms Jannah!", with a shy smile. Or if you are lucky, they might be screaming off their greetings from the other side of the school block. Erks.

#2 A convenient place where you can perform ur solat, which is just a few steps from my new cubicle. Alhamdulilah.

#3 The peace and quiet environment in school when its a school H-O-L-i-DAY.

#4 Generous gifts from the school during special days.

#5 Friendly and affectionate people.

#6 Oh and the berape cent food. Like 70 cents Macaroni Stew and 40 cents Green tea packet drink.

#7 Mr Neva's classical guitar in his cubicle. In which he would play beautifully during his free periods. Free live unplugged concert!

#8 Cik Azom's frequent visits to clear the rubbish and chit chat session.

#9 An opportunity to "play" netball or kick a soccer ball which went out of control during the students' training session.

#10 The sodap Teh that I buy everyday from the nearby coffeeshop

Waiting for the bus to go dinner @ Night Safari for Teacher's Day celebrations. 1 hr left. Toodles!

It's been a roller coaster of emotions. Been demoralised and my morale was nearly to the extend of being depleted. But everytime I browse through my hp pics, a glance at my cousin's pic, makes me day. =)
Sweetly innocent!

Muhammad Khalish.
Now everyone! Say...... Awwwww.

Muhâsabah. A state of self-critisicism or self-interrogation, whereby a person reviews his past actions and words; Questioning oneself if it's, Good or bad; Right or Wrong.

"The intelligent person takes account of himself and acts for (that which will benefit after) death." Reported by At-Tirmidhi.

I picked out a few points from an article written by Fethullah Gulen regarding Muhasabah stating:

+ Self-criticism - described as seeking and discovering one’s inwardness and spiritual depth and exerting the necessary spiritual and intellectual efforts to acquire true human values and develop the sentiments that encourage them
+ a man distinguishes between what is good and bad and what is beneficial or harmful to him throughout his life and maintains the uprightness of his heart
+ a man is enabled to evaluate the present and prepare for the future

Personally I feel I should take more time in this reflection state. There are far too much beautiful things in life that I should be grateful and pay more attention to. There are far too much miserable and dark moments in life I should walk away with a learnt lesson. There are potentially lovable people; my family, my brothers and sisters (friends) that I should shower more warmth and understanding to. There are infinite ukhrawi knowledge waiting to be discovered and benefited from the teachings every second of life. There is a great potential in achieving life here, and for life in the hereafter, insyaAllah.

Live today better than yesterday and tomorrow better than today.

Our Prophet s.a.w once said:

"Truthfulness leads to piety, and piety leads to Paradise. A man continues to speak the truth until he is recorded in the sight of Allah as a sincere lover of truth (siddeeq). Falsehood leads to iniquity and iniquity leads to Hell. A man will continue to speak falsehood until he is recorded in the sight of Allah as a liar"

Speaking of truthfulness, jolts my memory of the word TRUST.
Who CAN you trust?
Can you put your trust entirely on a person?
Or trust no one but yourself?
We can eliminate the buruk sangkas on a person can't we?
We can always filter our thoughts at the sight of a person can't we?
Will we then, be labelled as naive individuals by the seculars?
Individuals, who seem ignorant or blind?
In the eyes of some, good is bad, bad is good.
The world has gone giler.
But whatever.
I'm sticking with the hadith.

I accept feedbacks. But I refuse to accept one that comes with a read-between-the-lines label of “You can’t be yourself”. Can’t believe my so called big hoo-haa M-s actually wanted me to change into something I’m not. In my opinion, in which all people have the right of, THAT is totally inhumane. Also shocked that one confessed to have changed for the benefit of their roles. Yes, what’s wrong if it’s for the benefit of their roles? You really wanna go that far to changing in to something your not? I don’t see the good/happiness side of it even if it can take you far from where you are. You're not living your life the way you wanna be.

Most disappointingly of all, they fail to know me well enough before they came barging in to judge and evaluate me in an un-pro manner. I’ve got something to say honey, You may be the best judge ON THE SURFACE, but its no doubt that I know myself better, and Allah knows EVERYTHING about me. You can’t put up a rhetoric speech in an effort to CHANGE me. What’s with all this Albert Einstein’s quote and what so ever? Masuk telinga kanan keluar telinga kiri…

That’s just one whole chunk of crap for a period of a month plus. Chuck it away….chuck it away… Not worth getting so worked up. Got other things to look forward to aside from that. Patience; an essential tool.
